EdUHK Climbs Over 600 Places in QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026 Entering Top 30% Globally

EdUHK has achieved a remarkable leap in the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2026, announced on 18 November 2025 by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). EdUHK surged by more than 600 places to 571st out of 2,002 institutions worldwide, placing the University within the top 30% globally. In Asia, EdUHK now ranks 146th out of 827 institutions and stands seventh among 11 higher education institutions in Hong Kong. Read more

 

EdUHK Soars 60 places to Rank 152nd in QS Asia University Rankings, Securing Top 10% Achievement

EdUHK is pleased to announce its ranking of 152nd out of 1,526 higher education institutions in the QS World University Rankings: Asia 2026, rising 60 places from the previous year. This achievement places the University in the top 10% across the region. Released on 4 November 2025 by international higher education analytics firm Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), the rankings highlight EdUHK's strong performance across key indicators, reflecting the University's sustained commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and global engagement. EdUHK Holds 2025 Graduation Ceremony cum Appointment of Elite Athlete Friendly University Ambassadors

EdUHK is holding its 2025 Graduation Ceremony on the Tai Po Campus between 19 and 22 November 2025, conferring degrees on more than 5,700 graduates. Among them were the inaugural cohorts from the Academy for Educational Development and Innovation and the Academy of Applied Policy Studies and Education Futures, as well as 23 elite athlete students. In his opening remarks, EdUHK President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin extended heartfelt congratulations to the graduates, encouraging them to be bold in pursuing innovation, to embrace challenges, and to contribute to society with their professional knowledge and perseverance. EdUHK Hosts Final cum Award Presentation Ceremony of the ‘Hong Kong Secondary School Belt and Road Quiz Competition’

EdUHK School Partnership and Field Experience Office organised the final and award presentation ceremony of the Hong Kong Secondary School Belt and Road Quiz Competition on 1 November 2025 at its Tai Po campus. The event was co-organised by the Hong Kong Subsidized Secondary Schools Council, the New Territories School Heads Association, the Kowloon Region School Heads Association, the Hong Kong Island School Heads Association, the Hong Kong Direct Subsidy Scheme Schools Council and the Association of Principals of Government Secondary Schools. Read more

2026 marks the 10th anniversary of EdUHK being retitled! To celebrate this significant milestone, EdUHK will hold the ‘Charity Fun Walk’ and HK Marathon Team Kick-off Ceremony 2026 on Saturday, 10 January 2026 at the EdUHK Sports Centre (Pak Shek Kok, Tai Po). We warmly invite all alumni and the public—along with their beloved dogs—to join us and walk together with EdUHK! The event will also feature the Kick-off Ceremony for the Hong Kong Marathon 2026 EdUHK Running Team, to cheer on our runners and showcase the unity and determination of our staff and students!
