EdUHK Holds Flag-Raising Ceremony to Kick Off the New Academic Year

EdUHK held the Academic Year Inauguration cum Flag Raising Ceremony on its Tai Po campus on 1 September 2025. Attended by over 1,000 new students and teachers, the event marked the commencement of the new academic year, advancing the goal of ‘Education Futures, Diverse Talent’. Read more

 

54 EdUHK Scholars Named Among World’s Top 2% Scientists by Stanford University

EdUHK is excited to announce that 54 of its scholars have been listed among the World’s Top 2% Most-cited Scientists in the 2025 ranking, published by Stanford University. This represents an increase of five people compared to last year, demonstrating the sustained enhancement of EdUHK scholars’ research capabilities and strong recognition on the international stage. EdUHK Holds Honorary Doctorate and Honorary Fellowship Conferment Ceremony

EdUHK held the Honorary Doctorate and Honorary Fellowship Conferment Ceremony on its Tai Po campus on 26 September 2025. Presided over by EdUHK Council Chairman Dr David Wong Yau-kar, the ceremony was held to confer five honorary doctorates and an honorary fellowship on six distinguished individuals, in recognition of their remarkable contributions in advancing education and dedication to public service.  Read more

 

EdUHK Hosts Thanksgiving Dinner to Thank Supporters for Advancing School Development

EdUHK hosted the Honorary Awards and Thanksgiving Dinner at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on 26 September 2025. The event aimed to express heartfelt appreciation to benefactors, alumni, and partners for their steadfast support of the University’s mission, while also recognising outstanding scholarship recipients. Read more

[Activity highlights] Mooncake Workshop 2025

The Mooncake Workshop 2025 for alumni was a success! Under the thoughtful guidance of professional instructor Oscar, everyone learned to make their own unique Middle Eastern-inspired "Dubai-style Pistachio Chocolate Mooncake". This delicious treat pairs rich chocolate with pistachio paste, creating a smooth, luscious molten filling with an unforgettably rich texture! Read more

 

【Congratulations】EdUHK Alumni on Receiving the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence

Twenty EdUHK alumni have been presented with the Chief Executive’s Award for Teaching Excellence (2024/2025), organised by the Education Bureau. Among them, nine were honoured with the Award for Teaching Excellence, nine received the Certificate of Merit, and two received the Award for Budding Teachers and the Award for Education Innovation respectively.
