EdUHK Wins Nine Awards at Silicon Valley International Invention Festival 2025

EdUHK has received significant recognition at the Silicon Valley International Invention Festival held in the United States, winning a total of nine awards. The honours were two Special Prizes – the WIPO National Award for Inventors and the Prize of the China Association of Inventions – as well as four Gold and three Silver Medals.  Read more

 

EdUHK 2024 Education Graduates Achieve Record Average Salary

EdUHK announced the latest results of the Graduate Employment Survey on 13 August 2025, revealing that 95.8% of graduates from the Bachelor of Education programmes were employed or planning to pursue further studies within three months of graduation, with an average monthly starting salary of HK$ 34,931. For graduates of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education programmes, 93.5% were employed or continued their education, with an average starting salary of HK$ 36,989. Both salary figures are all-time highs. Read more

 

Renmin University of China Delegation Visits EdUHK Fostering Student Exchange and Understanding

EdUHK received a delegation from Renmin University of China (RUC) and co-hosted an exchange session at the EdUHK Tai Po campus on 18 August 2025. This visit was part of the ‘Blossom of Bauhinia’ student exchange programme, organised for RUC students to enhance their understanding of Hong Kong’s political, economic, cultural, and technological development. EdUHK Welcomes New Local and Non-Local Students at Orientation Days

EdUHK hosted a two-day orientation event on 18 and 19 August 2025 on its Tai Po campus, to welcome 600 local and non-local new undergraduates and higher diploma students. The event provided an opportunity for students to explore and experience campus life through a diverse range of activities. Read more

 

EdUHK Holds International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School 2025

EdUHK held the International Postgraduate Roundtable and Research Forum cum Summer School 2025 on its Tai Po campus, between 29 July and 1 August 2025. Under the theme ‘Interdisciplinary Frontiers: Exploring Mind, Language, and Environment for a Sustainable Future’, the conference served as an important forum for sharing and discussing cutting-edge research. It brought together approximately 330 postgraduate students, alumni, researchers and renowned scholars from 23 countries and regions worldwide to share their latest research findings. Read more

[Alumni Sharing] Alumna Olivia and Her Green Mission

As Senior Vice President at Invest Hong Kong, alumna Olivia is committed to positioning Hong Kong as a global hub for green technology and finance. Her time at EdUHK nurtured her diverse thinking and broadened her international outlook, inspiring her to pursue a career in environmental advocacy. Olivia reflects on the challenges she has encountered throughout her career and expresses heartfelt gratitude for the support and guidance she received from EdUHK and her mentors. She encourages future graduates to embrace new opportunities and challenge conventional boundaries, and calls on fellow alumni to actively give back to their alma mater, working together to support EdUHK’s long-term development.
