EdUHK Holds 30th Anniversary Gala Dinner: Education, Talent, Virtue - Shaping the Future of Education in Hong Kong Together

To celebrate the 30th Anniversary of EdUHK, a gala dinner was held on 23 November at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre. Around 2,000 guests gathered to celebrate EdUHK’s 30 years of achievements and to look forward to an exciting future. Read more

EdUHK Holds Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony

EdUHK held the Honorary Doctorate Conferment Ceremony on 22 November on its Tai Po campus to confer honorary doctorates on four distinguished scholars and social leaders, in recognition of their remarkable contributions in advancing education and dedication to public service. They are (in alphabetical order by surname):

• Professor Marilyn Cochran-Smith
• Professor Frederick Ma Si-hang, GBS, JP

EdUHK Holds 2024 Graduation Ceremony cum Appointment of Elite Athlete Friendly University Ambassadors

EdUHK will be holding graduation ceremonies for the Class of 2024 students at the Tai Po campus over the next three weekends starting from 16 November. EdUHK President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin congratulated the graduates and their families and captured treasured moments with them at various photo spots. Meanwhile, the University also appointed Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) graduates Lee Ho-ching and Leung Bo-yee as the "Elite Athletes Friendly University" Ambassadors of EdUHK. Read more

EdUHK Holds Charity Stage Production to Advocate Special Education Awareness

EdUHK held the charity stage production “A Kid Story” at the Hong Kong City Hall Theatre on the evening of 8 November. The event promoted the development of special education and inclusive education and helped raise awareness in society of children with special educational needs. The production also raised funds for “Project Aspire”, a programme managed and supervised by EdUHK, with an aim to support students with Asperger syndrome or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), their parents, and teachers. EdUHK First Entry into QS University Rankings: Asia with Top 25% Achievement

EdUHK is pleased to announce that it has placed 212th out of 984 higher education institutions, in its first year entering the QS World University Rankings: Asia. In its 2025 rankings, released on 6 November, international higher education research institution Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) placed EdUHK in the top 25%. Read more

EdUHK Alumni are cordially invited to join our free Christmas Baking Workshop. Places are limited, so register online now. (Owing to space limitations, we can only host alumni who have successfully registered, and not their friends and family.)

Stop By the AADO Photo Booth On Your Graduation Day

Congratulations to our new graduates! EdUHK held the graduation ceremony for the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences on 16 November. On this joyful occasion, many graduates and their families visited our booth on Podium B2 to learn about the University’s achievements and to capture happy moments at our photo corner. Next, the graduation ceremonies for the Graduate School (GS), the Faculty of Humanities (FHM), and the Faculty of Education and Human Development (FEHD) will be held on 30 November and 7 December.
