EdUHK join hands with Tianjin University of Sport to hold ‘National Glory - Exhibition on the Spirit of the China Women's Volleyball Team’

To promote and convey the spirit of the China Women's Volleyball Team – national success, solidarity, resilience, and determination to improve – EdUHK and Tianjin University of Sport co-organised the ‘National Glory - Exhibition on the Spirit of the China Women's Volleyball Team’, to showcase the team’s glorious history and competitiveness in winning ten world titles over four decades. EdUHK Hosts Global Research Institute for Finnish Education Conference 2024

EdUHK hosted the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education Conference 2024 from 5 to 6 June. The Conference brought together over 150 scholars, educators and practitioners from Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas for rich dialogue on educational reforms with a special focus on the Chinese and Finnish educational systems. In December last year, EdUHK established the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education to integrate research findings into educational development and contribute to global education. Read more

EdUHK Delegation Visits to University of British Columbia and Simon Fraser University

Professor Chetwyn Chan Che-hin, Vice President (Research & Development) of EdUHK, recently led a delegation to visit the University of British Columbia (UBC) and Simon Fraser University, in Canada. The EdUHK delegation held discussions with Professor Matthew Evenden, Associate Vice President (Research and Innovation), senior management and scholars at UBC, focusing on academic collaboration and student exchanges between the two universities. 【Alumni Activities】Alumni Gathering in East China

The EdUHK Mainland Alumni Association (EdUHKMAA) organised an alumni gathering in Shanghai on 22 June. Over 150 mainland alumni and guests joined the event with EdUHK President Professor John Lee Chi-Kin in attendance. The EdUHKMAA also held inauguration ceremonies for its East China Branch and Doctoral Branch, marking the progressive expansion of our mainland alumni network. Read more

【Alumni Activities】Rice Dumpling Making Workshop

On 1 June, the AADO organised a “Dragon Boat Festival Rice Dumpling Making Workshop”. The well-attended event was conducted by professional cookery instructor Mrs Wong Leung Suk-ying who taught participants how to make two types of rice dumplings, one with Chinese Ham and Conpoy filling, and the other Red Beans Paste with Mandarin Peel. All participants enjoyed themselves and brought home handmade Dragon Boat Festival rice dumplings to share with their families! You can now browse the event photos in our Facebook album.

EdUHK 30th Anniversary Celebration Mobile Stickers and Wallpapers

To continue celebrating EdUHK’s 30th anniversary, the AADO has prepared a series of delightful mobile stickers for WhatsApp, Signal and WeChat and mobile wallpapers. The series is now available to download for free. Please share the joy with family and friends! Read more
