Elite Athlete Student Chiu Hin-chun Won Gold at the Lightweight Men’s Single Sculls at the 2024 World Rowing Cup II in Switzerland

EdUHK has given congratulations to elite athlete student Chiu Hin-chun, who is on the Master of Social Sciences in Sports Coaching and Management Programme, for winning a gold medal in the Lightweight Men’s Single Sculls at the 2024 World Rowing Cup II in Lucerne, Switzerland. Chiu Hin-chun is the first rowing athlete in Hong Kong to win gold in international competition. Read more

EdUHK Wins Seven Awards at 2024 Geneva Invention Exhibition

EdUHK garnered seven prestigious awards – four Silver Medals and three Bronze – at the 49th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva (Geneva Invention Exhibition). These accolades span across areas including healthcare, educational technology, and games & toys. Their success demonstrates EdUHK’s commitment to research and innovation in a diverse range of fields. Read more

EdUHK Welcomes Huizhou Government Leaders’ Visit

A delegation from the Huizhou Government visited EdUHK on 7 May. During the meeting, Dr Terence Chan Ho-wah, Deputy Chairman of EdUHK Council and Professor John Lee Chi-kin, EdUHK President, presented the latest developments of EdUHK to the delegation. Both sides discussed opportunities for collaboration in the context of the Greater Bay Area development, including exploring the establishment of a collaborative education centre in Huizhou with the support of the Municipal Government. EdUHK Organises “Hold You Together” Special Education Conference 2024

Organised by the Department of Special Education and Counselling of EdUHK, The “Hold You Together” Special Education Conference 2024 was held on 7 May, in collaboration with the Integrated Centre for Wellbeing, Lingnan Normal University and Nanjing Normal University of Special Education. The event aimed to encourage the exchange of ideas and collaboration among professionals from different sectors, and jointly contribute to the development and advancement of special education and inclusive education. 【Alumni Association Activities】GCEPSA annual meeting and luncheon

The Grantham College of Education Past Students’ Association held its annual general meeting on 27 April, which was an occasion for alumni to reunite and reminisce about their time at their alma mater.
