EdUHK Establishes Research Network with IOE of UCL

EdUHK announced on 14 December the establishment of a new collaborative research network with the Institute of Education (IOE), University College London (UCL) – an institution which has been recognised as the top-ranked institution in the discipline of Education & Training by the QS World University Rankings every year since 2014. Distinguished Lecture Series in French Culture and Education

Mr Pascal Lamy, former Director-General of the World Trade Organisation and European Commissioner for Trade, gave a lecture on the challenges and future of global commerce and globalisation at EdUHK on 11 December. The event attracted over 100 participants, comprising government officials, business and community leaders, economists, academics and members of the University community. Read more

EdUHK Shines Brightly with Three Awards Wins in its First Participation at AEII

EdUHK secured three awards at the 3rd Asia Innovation and Invention Exhibition (AEII). This is the first time EdUHK has entered inventions at the AEII, and the three projects presented captured the attention of industry experts. EdUHK’s groundbreaking ‘Rapid Quantification of Microplastics Using Total Organic Carbon Analysis with Simple Sample Pretreatment' project was awarded a gold medal, impressing the judges with its ingenuity and potential for real-world impact. EdUHK Establishes Global Research Institute for Finnish Education

EdUHK announced the establishment of the Global Research Institute for Finnish Education (GRIFE) to focus on education policies in Finland on 4 December. Through GRIFE, the University aims to integrate research findings into educational development, thus contributing to global education. Another goal is to drive educational development in Hong Kong, the Greater Bay Area, and around the world. Read more

AADO together with several collaborating organisations will jointly host the EdUHK’s ‘30th Anniversary Walkathon Fundraising and Education Day’ on 27 January 2024 in Tai Po Waterfront Park. Our alumni, being a significant part of the EdUHK history, have witnessed the growth and development of the University. We sincerely invite you to participate in this grand event. Christmas Cooking Workshops successfully completed

Two "Christmas Cooking Workshops" organised by AADO were successfully held on 2 and 16 December. The workshops were conducted by professional instructors, Mabel Ho and Mab Mak, who taught participants how to cook Roasted Beef Tenderloin and Chestnut Tart, Beef Wellington and Glass Cookies respectively. All alumni and friends thoroughly enjoyed themselves and successfully created exquisite and delicious festive delicacies! Photos from the events have been uploaded to the Facebook. The Graduation Ceremony 2023, held over four consecutive Saturdays on Tai Po campus, has been successfully concluded. Together with families and friends, graduates gathered on the campus taking photos to make this day memorable, creating such a lively atmosphere!
