Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs Outcome Sharing Seminar cum Speech Day (2021-22)

The Jockey Club Youth Academy for Special Educational Needs (JCYASEN) held its 2021-22 outcome sharing seminar cum speech day on 8 July. Representatives from JCYASEN shared its educational outcomes and experiences in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN). Donors and friends also attended the event at AADO’s invitation to show their support.

【Upcoming activities】Mooncake Workshops

Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival is not complete without delicious festive treats. In August, AADO will organise two culinary workshops for alumni to learn how to make mooncakes in four different flavours from a professional chef. The workshops are free of charge. 【Upcoming activities】EdUHK Graduation Bear Programme 2022

This year, AADO is collaborating with the Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped Youth (HKFHY) and engaging them to produce our EdUHK Graduation Bear soft toys. These unique graduation gifts feature delicate details handcrafted by persons with disabilities, and you can directly support their community when you buy a Graduation Bear. Price and ordering details will be announced soon. Stay tuned!

【Highlights】Summer Baking Workshop

The Matcha Mochi French Pudding Bun baking workshop was held on 9 July. The sweet and chewy treat piqued the interest of more than 1,000 alumni and their friends. Guided by chef instructor Mab Mak, the participants mastered the kitchen skills required to make this popular dessert. The workshop was a success much enjoyed by all.
