EdUHK Debuts 530th in QS World University Rankings 2026 and 3rd in U.S. News & World Report Subject Ranking

EdUHK is proud to announce its debut in the QS World University Rankings 2026, unveiled on 19 June 2025, placing within the top 35% globally at 530th, and also ranking 161st in Asia and 7th in Hong Kong. This excellent achievement in EdUHK’s first year of participation in the rankings, coupled with the QS subject rankings earlier this year, highlights the University’s growing recognition for its continuous improvement in academic research, research output and degree of internationalisation. EdUHK Hosts RGC Visit: Panel Chairs Share Grant Insights

EdUHK hosted a visit by the Research Grants Council (RGC) on 12 June 2025. The purpose of the visit was to enable senior members of RGC to gain a deeper understanding of the University’s new Education Futures approach and its latest research development, while also serving as a valuable platform for collegial exchanges between the RGC visiting party and EdUHK community. EdUHK and Tsinghua University Co-host ‘Education Forum: Future Education and Learning’

EdUHK and Tsinghua University held the ‘EdUHK-THU Education Forum: Future Education and Learning’ on 13 and 14 June 2025 on EdUHK’s Tai Po Campus. The forum was organised to explore how artificial intelligence is revolutionising education and paving the way for new directions for learning in the future. This event brought together internationally renowned scholars, young researchers, industry pioneers, and primary and secondary school principals from over 20 regions around the world. Read more

QS EduData Summit 2025: Connecting Data Science, Skills and Innovation

EdUHK, in strategic partnership with QS, hosted the EduData Summit 2025 on 4 and 5 June 2025 at the Marina Bay Sands Expo and Convention Centre in Singapore. Themed ‘Connecting EduData: Aligning Data Science, Skills and Innovation’, the summit brought together over 400 global educators, researchers, policymakers and industry experts to explore the transformative potential of data science and artificial intelligence in education. EdUHK Organises Opening Ceremony for ‘The EdUHK SDG Living Laboratory @ Tai-po – Community Well-being’ Project in Promoting Elderly Health and Wellbeing

EdUHK held the opening ceremony for ‘The EdUHK SDG Living Laboratory @ Tai-po - Community Well-being’ (the Project) on 7 June 2025 at the District Council Secretariat of Tai Po District Office. The ceremony highlighted the achievements of the Project over the past year in the Tai Po community. It also introduced new elements focusing on mental health and nutrition to promote the health and wellbeing of the elderly and support sustainable development in the community. Read more

EdUHK will host the "Honorary Awards and Thanksgiving Dinner" on 26 September 2025 (Friday). The event celebrates the conferral of honorary doctorates and honorary fellowships, while expressing gratitude to donors and partners for their longstanding and generous support for the University’s development through scholarships and donations.
