EdUHK Alumna and Students Finish the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games with Medals
|
Five students and a graduate of Bachelor of Health Education (Honours) programme at EdUHK, representing Hong Kong, finished the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. They were Michael Cheng Chun-leung (Sailing), Doo Hoi-kem and Lee Ho-ching (Table Tennis), Sarah Lee Wai-sze and Leung Bo-yee (Cycling Track) and Shek Wai-hung (Artistic Gymnastics). They have been working very hard to be where they are today. In particular, Doo Hoi-kem, Lee Ho-ching and Lee Wai-sze took the bronze medals at the Tokyo Olympics. Our heartiest congratulations!

Symposium for Hong Kong New Generations of Cantonese Opera Playwriting

EdUHK organised the “Symposium for Hong Kong New Generations of Cantonese Opera Playwriting 2021” on 7 August to provide a platform for Cantonese opera artists, playwrights, practitioners and scholars to share and exchange their views on playwriting development, performance practice and the culture of Cantonese opera. Supported by the Cantonese Opera Development Fund, the symposium was co-hosted by the Research Centre for Transmission of Cantonese Opera of the EdUHK and the Xiqu Centre in the West Kowloon Cultural District.
