The Charity Movie Show for the Movie “I Still Remember”, presented by EdUHK and Wofoo Social Enterprises, was held successfully on 9 April. All the funds raised from the Charity Movie Show are used to support three relevant projects, namely Shi-Tu Scheme, scholarships for Bachelor of Education (PE) students with high performance in sports and those who pursue excellence in field experience, as well as The EdUHK Foundation. Before the start of the Charity Movie Show, there was a cheque presentation ceremony. Cheques were presented by the title sponsor Wofoo Social Enterprises and the gold sponsor Dr Adam Lee Yat-keung respectively. Dr David Wong Yau-kar, Chairman of The EdUHK Council and Chairman of The EdUHK Foundation, represented EdUHK to receive the cheques. At the same time, Dr Wong presented souvenirs to Ms Christina M. Lee, Director, Wofoo Social Enterprises, Dr Adam Lee Yat-keung and the bronze sponsor Dr Anthony Chow Wing-kin to express the heartfelt appreciations for the donors’ generosity to support EdUHK. After the Charity Movie Show, the organiser arranged two sharing sessions. In the first session, the film director Mr Lik Ho shared how the movie’s theme was shaped and the anecdotes during the film production. The second one was among teachers and students of the EdUHK’s Department of Health and Physical Education on how EdUHK teachers inspired them about life on life, persistence and staying positive, which have impact on their teaching nowadays.
