“Model Mooncake Workshop” and Appreciation for Alumni’s Donations to Set Up Bursaries

The Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO) organised the “Model Mooncake Workshop” on 8 September 2018. Under the instruction of Haze Wong, tutor of Shun Hing Cooking Centre, our alumni and friends produced egg custard mooncakes and taro filo pastry. Our alumni played with their unlimited creativity to design a variety of model mooncakes, punctuating the process with bursts of laughter.

In addition, AADO is thankful to a few of our alumni who attended this workshop for their generosity and donations to The Education University of Hong Kong in supporting the establishment of bursaries to help their juniors in need. We hope that donations will continue to come in to set up more bursaries for helping students with financial difficulties.

Teaching that Inspires and Warms the Heart – Alumnus Ng Yeung-ming

Education, driven on by the giant wheels of the new era, has experienced a jaw-dropping speed of changes. Principal Ng Yeung-ming believes that a passion for teaching is unarguably an important element in the support for a teacher, and a further step is – teaching and learning go hand in hand.
