EdUHK Alumni Family Day

The Education University of Hong Kong’s Alumni Family Day was successfully held on 2 March 2019. The EdUHK Alumni Family Day, as the University’s first event to celebrate the 25th anniversary, attracted many alumni and friends together with their family members. This was a very good occasion to engage and reunite different generations of alumni from former Colleges of Education, the then Hong Kong Institute of Education and The Education University of Hong Kong.

We had the honour to have the presence of Prof. Lui Tai-lok, Vice President (Research and Development) to grace the occasion and deliver a welcoming speech. He also shared with participants the achievements and the latest development of the University.

Apart from joining the thematic talk, our participants also took part in a wide range of parent-child activities (such as Rolling Slide, Sensory Rainforest, Float Sumo, Blow Blow Gallery, Ever-changing Wooden Frame, Bubble Party, etc.), language and handcraft booths, as well as guided tours (Aquaponics, Library and Hong Kong Museum of Education). They enjoyed a relaxing afternoon.

The Alumni Affairs and Development Office would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to three Faculties (namely Faculty of Education and Human Development, Faculty of Humanities and Faculty of Liberal Arts and Social Sciences), alumni associations and other supporting units. Their efforts were conducive to the success of the event.

His efforts were recognised within a short period of time, having received the “Teacher Commendation Award” and the “International Outstanding E-Learning Award”...
