EdUHK Alumni Family Day 2019
The “EdUHK Alumni Family Day” (previously known as Alumni Homecoming Day) of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) will be held in the afternoon of 2 March 2019 (Saturday). We invite our alumni to return to the campus with their family and friends and participate in a number of exciting activities including:
- Thematic talk
- Parent-child activities
- Booth games
- Campus excursions (guided tour of Aquaponics, Library and Hong Kong Museum of Education)
For the thematic talk, Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO) has invited Mrs Mak Ho Siu-kuen, a veteran occupational therapist, to give a lecture entitled “Changing Habits and the Improvement on Learning Ability”. The topic will be particularly suitable for our alumni with children.
All activities on the EdUHK Alumni Family Day will be free of charge and all are welcome. Details of the event will be announced, so stay tuned to our website.

Lunar New Year Food Workshop
The Alumni Affairs and Development Office organised the “Lunar New Year Food Workshop” on 5 January 2019. Alumni and friends, under the guidance of a tutor (米太) at Shun Hing Cooking Centre, produced “Glutinous Rice Cake (Pandan flavor)” and “Sesame Ball with Red Bean Paste”. The place was filled with a happy festive mood celebrating the Lunar New Year.
In addition, AADO is thankful to a few of our alumni who attended this workshop for their generosity and donations to The Education University of Hong Kong in supporting the establishment of bursaries to help their juniors in need. We hope that donations will continue to come in to set up more bursaries for helping students with financial difficulties.
