“The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) Alumni Homecoming 2018” was held on 17 March 2018 (Saturday). EdUHK’s alumni together with their families and friends arrived at the campus and participated in various exciting activities. Programme of the day included theme lecture, parents-children competitions, indoor rock climbing, sugar painting, handicraft stall, language stall games, alumni tea gathering and campus tours (Aquaponics system, Library, Hong Kong Museum of Education and facilities in the Integrated Centre for Wellbeing).

The naming ceremony of the “Ho Tak Sum Multipurpose Room” was held at The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) on 24 March 2018 (Saturday), in recognition of the generous support of Mr Ho Tak Sum, Managing Director of Pong Tak Realty Co., Ltd to EdUHK.

Mr Ho has a heart of gold. He has made donations to help schools and social welfare organisations and has actively promoted educational, cultural and religious projects. Over the years, his contributions have benefited a lot of people.

In recognition of Mr Ho's generous donation to The Education University of Hong Kong Foundation to assist its long-term development and continuous efforts in nurturing talents for the community and the education sector, the University has specially named a multipurpose room on the campus as “Ho Tak Sum Multipurpose Room”.
