"Alumni Connect" Series: A Creative Spark for New Year Cooking

The volunteer programme was jointly organised by the Alumni Affairs and Development Office of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and the Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (YMCA). Held on 3 February 2018 (Saturday), this volunteer service provided our alumni and friends an opportunity to make carp-shaped New Year cakes and fish-shaped red packets with children from underprivileged families in Sham Shui Po. Despite the fact that it was one of the chilliest days in Hong Kong, our volunteers’ passion for the service was not affected at all. Our alumni and friends, as well as the children, enjoyed a relaxing Saturday together.
