Dr Kwong Kai-to, Chairman of Rural Training College Alumni Association, speaks to elderly students at the Elder Academy Orientation Day

Rural Training College Alumni Association has made a generous donation to support tuition fees paid by students of the Elder Academy of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). Elderly students of the Academy can continue to study at a nominal fee, engaging in lifelong learning in pursuit of a healthy and fulfilled life. To express our appreciation, Dr Kwong Kai-to, Chairman of Rural Training College Alumni Association and Honorary Fellow of EdUHK, was invited to officiate and speak to a group of 100 students on the Elder Academy Orientation Day on 30 August 2017. Dr Kwong’s speech was a highlight of that day where he shared with the audience tips on healthy and active ageing and the wisdom to achieve a more meaningful life in retirement.

AADO Booth welcomes the new graduates on gown collection days

The event for gown collection will take place in the campus on 13-15 October 2017. The Alumni Affairs and Development Office (AADO) takes this opportunity to set up a booth for welcoming the new graduates of The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) and introducing the variety of alumni services and special offers during the three-day event.

To congratulate the graduates, AADO will launch a “U-title Anniversary Celebration: Graduation Bear Programme”. Contributions received will be used to support “The Education University of Hong Kong Foundation” and the academic development of EdUHK, as well as to provide students with more diverse learning opportunities. As a token of appreciation, donors who make a donation of HK$500 or above will be given an EdUHK graduation bear (while stocks last).

Graduates of the current year who wish to participate in this campaign should visit the AADO booth in the Conference Centre (Block E) on 13-15 October 2017. Complete a donation form and make an on-site contribution, the souvenir will be yours. Please act now to support the development of EdUHK!
