The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) held the naming ceremony of the “CMA Lecture Room” on 19 May 2017 in appreciation of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong (CMA) for their support to the University, including generous donation to “The Education University of Hong Kong Foundation” and full support for the “Understanding China’s Socio-Economic Development in the Era of Globalisation” Project. Professor Stephen Y.L. Cheung, President of EdUHK and Dr Eddy S.H. Li, President of CMA officiated at the ceremony. More than 30 guests attended the ceremony to witness this occasion, including CMA office-bearers, EdUHK’s Management, student ambassadors and media personnel.

The University’s initiative of issuing, upon application through the online application system, the Documentary Proof for Retitling (DPR) for the 1994 - 2015 cohorts of The Hong Kong Institute of Education (HKIEd) Graduates is approaching a concluding phase. Applications will be accepted up to and including Friday, 30 June 2017 only.

HKIEd Graduates (regardless of the Phase 1 or Phase 2 application periods) are given a gentle reminder of this “deadline” for application and requested to make their application early. Details can be found at https://www.eduhk.hk/dpr.

DPR states that The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK) recognises academic qualifications awarded to the Graduates of the former HKIEd as being equivalent to those awarded by the University.

For alumni whose DPR application was accepted, unless arrangement has been made for delivery through courier service or pending further notice, please come and collect your copy/copies of "Documentary Proof for Retitling" at the DPR Service Counter on 1/F, Cho Kwai Chee Foundation Building (Block A) on the Tai Po Campus on or before Friday, 30 June 2017.

Those who will lodge their application for DPR for the final week (i.e. 25 to 30 June 2017) are requested to collect their DPR(s) at the DPR Service Counter on 1/F, Cho Kwai Chee Foundation Building (Block A) on the Tai Po Campus within the week of 10 to 15 July 2017. Please also keep an eye on University announcements for the latest arrangement.
