‘Action By Care - EdU Santa’ Programme ‧ To Break the Guinness World Record

With the aim of promoting a caring culture as well as spreading joy and positive energy around the campus, the Human Resources Office is collaborating with the Student Affairs Office to launch ‘Action By Care - EdU Santa’ Programme – writing a letter of appreciation, encouragement and blessings for a member of the EdUHK community to Santa. The Organizers’ target is to collect over 2,000 individual letters within 24 hours to break a Guinness World Record for ‘The Most Letters to Santa’.  You are cordially invited to join us at the following two activities.

1. EdU Santa cum Guinness World Record Attempt for ‘The Most Letters to Santa’ Kick-off Ceremony

Date:       1 December 2016 (Thursday)
Time:       1:15 pm – 1:45 pm (Reception starts at 1:00 pm)
Venue:    Central Plaza, Tai Po Campus, The Education University of Hong Kong

Tentative Rundown:

  • Welcoming Remarks by Dr Yu Kar Ming, Dean of Students
  • Keynote Speech by Professor Stephen Cheung, President of EdUHK
  • Kick-off of Guinness World Record Attempt -‘The Most Letters to Santa’
  • Collection of ‘Letters to Santa’

2. Letters to Santa

‘Writing to Santa’ will be running within 24 hours after the Ceremony. The participants could complete the Letter sheets and submit to the Collect Box in person.
