Alumni of the Sir Robert Black College of Education paid a visit

On 16 October 2016, more than 30 alumni who graduated from the Sir Robert Black College of Education (SRBCE) (1966-1968) paid a visit to The Education University of Hong Kong (EdUHK). They have known each other for more than 50 years and some who emigrated to overseas countries specially flew to Hong Kong to join the golden jubilee event. They also invited Mr. Lee Park-keong (Alumnus of Grantham College of Education) and Mr. Ho Che-leung, both of whom had taught at SRBCE, to participate in the visit. Following such a considerable lapse of time, once our alumni met up, they could hardly wait to exchange their current situation and shared with each other what had happened to them upon graduation. They also spent time reminiscing about the past and sharing bits and pieces of precious recollections.

After visiting the library and the Hong Kong Museum of Education, they had a gathering with Professor Stephen Y. L. Cheung, President of EdUHK. They all congratulated Professor Cheung on the successful retitling of their alma mater as university. Toward the end of the visit, they took a group photo with the President on the campus.
