Alumni Affairs and Development Office will organise a spring outing for alumni to visit the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, which will help you understand the contribution made by China, Asia and the West toward shipbuilding, route discovery and trade, as well as naval armaments. The Museum showcases South China's coastal areas and its adjacent waters, giving a comprehensive exposition of the developmental trend of global shipping, and that of the process during which Hong Kong transformed from a tiny fishing port into the world's major port and shipping centre.
Activities include the Museum’s guided tour, steering experience on the ship bridge simulator and self-guided tour, etc.
This activity is suitable for young and old alike and for family fun as well. Not only will there be happy moments spent together with other alumni, but the event will definitely broaden your horizons and intake of knowledge. It is a chance not to be missed!
