Talk on "Learning to Face and Counsel Children with Behavioural Problems" cum Visit to the Supporting Unit for Special Educational Needs

In the process of growing up, children may develop different kinds of behavioural problems and parents sometimes do not know how to cope with them. Parents will be under greater pressure when facing children with special educational needs. Both parents and children will be able to benefit if parents learn the way of coping with the situation as well as counselling skills.

In view of this, The Education University of Hong Kong’s Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education, Supporting Unit for Special Educational Needs and Alumni Affairs and Development Office co-organise a talk on "Learning to Face and Counsel Children with Behavioural Problems". Dr Benjamin Wat Wai-ho, senior family therapist, is invited to be the speaker to give some advice for parents on counselling children. After the talk, there will be time for parents to exchange their views. A visit will also be arranged to the Supporting Unit for Special Educational Needs to let participants have a deeper understanding of the services provided by the Unit. As a parent, how can you miss such a golden opportunity?
